Verizon gets favorable ruling in Vonage case

A federal jury has ruled that Vonage Holdings infringed on patents held by Verizon Communications and awarded the telecom company $58 million, plus future royalties. Vonage plans to appeal, but first it will face another hearing later this month to consider an injunction request made by Verizon.

AT&T aims to advance global delivery of IP services

Verizon authorized to offer video service in California

CPE market gets a boost from broadband demand
The broadband CPE market posted revenue of $5.6 billion in 2006, according to Infonetics Research, which found that the growing pool of broadband subscribers worldwide spurred the 15% year-over-year increase. IPTV customers fond of PVR/DVR equipment
DVRs and PVRs are attracting customers to IPTV services, according to a new report by Forrester Research.
