Surveys show AT&T faces massive demand for iPhone
According to a survey by M:Metrics, two-thirds of potential iPhone customers are not currently AT&T subscribers, but they would switch from their current carriers in order to buy an iPhone. Another survey by Compete revealed that 12% of respondents had delayed purchasing new mobile equipment while they waited for iPhone to hit the market. The Wall Street Journal (6/15)

Clearwire extends reach with satellite-provider deals

Free 411 service wants license fees from competitors
Jingle Networks, which operators 1-800-FREE411, won a patent last month for a feature of its service and now wants license fees from it competitors.
