Broadcasters ask tech companies to choose mobile standard
The Open Mobile Video Coalition -- a group consisting of nine broadcast groups -- on Tuesday issued an open letter asking technology companies to select a single industry standard for the rollout of digital-TV programming on cell phones, PDAs and other mobile devices.
