FCC votes to impose USF fee on most VoIP providers

The FCC ruled unanimously to require that VoIP providers contribute fees to the Universal Service Fund. Cablevision feels a need for speed

Cablevision Systems Corp. increased the maximum download speed for its Optimum Online broadband service to 15 Mbps, from 10 Mbps, and doubled the maximum upload speed to 2 Mbps.
