Huawei seeks deals with Nortel, Lucent

Plans for iTunes phone hit a snag
The real reason Motorola delayed the unveiling of a highly-anticipated iTunes phone may have been a dispute with some major wireless carriers over a plan by Motorola and Apple to let users put digital songs they already own on the handsets for free, some people close to the situation say.   Bloomberg Businessweek (3/24) 

Adelphia close to $725 million settlement with SEC, Justice Dept.
Bankrupt cable carrier Adelphia Communications is close to an agreement to pay about $725 million to federal regulators to settle fraud charges. In exchange for the payment, Adelphia wants the government to pressure former executives John and Timothy Rigas, who have been convicted of looting the company, to surrender cable systems they own that are managed by Adelphia.   The Wall Street Journal (3/24)

A new service from a startup called Send Word Now allows customers to contact entire phone lists -- up to 8,000 separate numbers -- via PC and soon via handheld.
