LONDON (Dow Jones)--In the latest exchange in an increasingly bitter takeover battle, Ryanair Holdings PLC (RYA.DB) Monday alleged that Aer Lingus Group PLC (EIL1.DB) unlawfully altered the employment contract of its chief executive to allow him to claim up to EUR2.8 million if he resigns after a change of control at the airline. Ryanair in a letter to Aer Lingus Chairman Colm Barrington described the offer to CEO Dermot Mannion as a "failure fee." ... (more)
