Broadband price wars heat up
Broadband providers including Verizon Communications, Comcast and Cox Communications all have introduced lower rates for high-speed Internet service since SBC Communications dropped its introductory rate to $14.95 per month. SBC now is taking its deal a step further by offering three months of broadband Internet service and satellite TV for free to new and existing phone customers who cancel their cable services.
