Qwest offers VoIP
Qwest Communications now offers VoIP service to better compete against rivals already providing the service. The telco is charging $30 a month for local calls plus five cents a minute for domestic long-distance calls, making the overall price significantly higher than competitors'. The service will use Qwest's own fiber-optic network.
