Telecom Italia unloads TIM
Telecom Italia has sold its TIM Hellas Telecommunications mobile phone business to private equity firms Texas Pacific Group and Apax Partners Worldwide for $1.4 billion. TIM is Greece's third-largest mobile phone operator after Cosmote and Vodafone.
