Intel's chief touts WiMAX
Intel CEO Craig Barrett said Friday that he believes WiMAX technology could emerge as a competitor to cable broadband and DSL. Barrett said WiMAX's main advantage is that it's faster than cable and DSL, making it more capable of handling today's bandwidth-hungry applications.
