Sprint-Nextel merger won't result in immediate changes
The proposed Sprint-Nextel Communications merger will result in some big changes for both companies, but those changes won't come right away, the companies say. After the deal is completed -- approval probably won't come for several months -- the companies must begin the cumbersome process of integrating their different technologies.
