Deloitte & Touche to pay $50 million in Adelphia fraud case

Auditor Deloitte & Touche agreed to pay $50 million to settle federal charges related to its failure to detect fraud at bankrupt cable carrier Adelphia Communications. But the auditor found itself in trouble again after blaming Adelphia in a statement made afterward.
