KMC turns focus to IP services
CenturyTel is buying a chunk of KMC Telecom's local service assets for $65 million, and East Coast CLEC Telcove also is buying a portion of KMC's assets for an undisclosed price. KMC is in the process of exiting the CLEC business to become a wholesaler of IP services.
