U.K. security guru warns of massive attack on enterprise VoIP networks

David Lacey, director of information security for the U.K.'s Royal Mail Group, said he expects an "electronic Pearl Harbor-type event will happen in 2006 or 2007." A likely reason for such an occurrence will be companies' hasty efforts to switch to VoIP without considering the security risks.
