China Telecom gets license to operate Internet cafe chain
China Telecom, the top fixed-line operator in China, said it has won approval to start a chain of Internet cafes. Analysts said the cafes could provide a significant revenue boost for the company. Internet cafes in China are popular mostly among males in their teens and early 20s who cannot afford a home PC.
