Company trials 10 Gigabit Ethernet chip
Vativ Technologies is showcasing a single-chip 10 Gigabit Ethernet transceiver designed for high-speed servers and switches. Vativ, which will begin mass producing the chips in the third quarter, says the technology will cost companies "less than a tenth of an equivalent short-reach optical solution."
