Former WorldCom executives settle lawsuits for $55.25 million

Eleven former WorldCom executives on Friday agreed to pay $20.2 million out of their own pockets to settle claims related to accounting fraud that led to the company's bankruptcy. Insurance companies will cover the rest of the payments.
