MCI board to discuss Qwest offer
MCI's board is scheduled to meet today to discuss Qwest Communications' latest takeover offer. Per MCI's agreement with Verizon Communications, the board must declare Qwest's offer has the potential to be a superior offer before engaging in further talks with Qwest.
