Liberty Media in talks to sell News Corp. shares; eyes Sprint towers

Liberty Media, the investment group controlled by cable mogul John Malone, is negotiating to sell its stake in News Corp, Liberty's CEO said. Last month, Liberty Media announced plans to increase its holdings in News Corp., which triggered speculation of a takeover battle. Liberty CEO Robert Bennett also said his company is considering a plan to buy cellular-telephone towers from Sprint.
