Supreme Court mulls impact on innovation in Grokster case
The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments yesterday in the file-sharing case of MGM Studios v. Grokster, and the justices surprised some observers in considering arguments that a ruling against Grokster threatened innovation. "How do we give the developer the confidence to go ahead," Justice David H. Souter asked.
