Cisco's acquisition of Airespace puts heat on rival gear makers
Now that Cisco Systems has completed its acquisition of Wi-Fi vendor Airespace, Cisco's rivals are scrambling to set up their own Wi-Fi partnerships. Nortel Networks has forged a deal with Trapeze Networks, while Alcatel has entered into an arrangement with Aruba Wireless Networks.
