Lawmakers urge CFPB to investigate CARD Act provision

More than two dozen members of Congress sent a letter to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau asking for a review of a CARD Act provision that requires at-home spouses to have individual income to be considered for credit cards. Some lawmakers argue that the provision is unfair to at-home and military spouses, and victims of domestic abuse.
